Copying toolbars across installations
Copying toolbars across installations
I have my toolbar on my main machine customized just like I like it. It’s no big deal to set it up manually on my laptop and office computer, but if toolbars are just files in some settings folder, then it would be easier just to copy it over. Any idea where toolbars reside on the hard drive and if I can do this? Thanks.

Choose the command File | Options (ribbon UI) or Tools > Options (classic menu UI).
In the following dialog box, click on the Manage button, which you will find at the bottom left of each tab in the options dialog.
This will open another dialog box, where you can Export your settings to a zip file to a location of your choice.
On the other machine use the same dialog box to Import this file.
