Dear SoftMaker Team,
Me and my colleagues have been using SoftMaker Office for Linux for quite a while now, and the most important feature I've been hoping for in the Office 2024 release is the touchscreen support. Today I accidentially figured out that this feature was long available in the Windows version since at least Office 2021. I see complains on the board about non-conventional two-finder scrolling, but to my opinion this is way better than nothing.
Are there any plans for touchscreen support in the Linux version?
Thanks!
Touchscreen support on Linux
Re: Touchscreen support on Linux
Neither SoftMaker Office for Linux nor for Windows has any special touchscreen support, except for the option to make the icons larger.
Windows converts touch to suitable mouse messages and this works rather well. Doesn't Linux do the same?

Re: Touchscreen support on Linux
Now it makes sense; thanks for the clarification.
I've tested the touchscreen behavior only in Cinnamon (on two laptops with Mint 21 and recent Mint 22), and scrolling doesn't work. The same is true for LibreOffice. At the same time, scrolling works out of the box in the built-in file browser, pdf viewer and simple text editor. Some third-party software like Chrome and WPS Office also support touchscreen scrolling here.

So, it's not the problem with SoftMaker Office.
