The problem is after editing the file, why do I need to create a new file?

There is no problem if it is on internal storage.
But- sd card (external) after editing the file is not saved auto edit like internal storage? And do you need to create a new file as an edit? Is there a way or is that really the case? Wouldn't it be nice to sync to Google Drive as well?
