Volume Licensing

Post by taljallad »

Hi,

Your product is more compatible with MS Office than any other I've tried. We are in a business environment and need to know if you handle discounted volume licensing? $70 dollars is quit a bit for only a MS Word and MS Excel substitute, plus not having anything to handle PowerPoint and Access files.

1. A PowerPoint-compatible presentation graphics program is in private beta testing now and will be added to SoftMaker Office this year.

2. We will also have an end user-oriented database package (similar to Access but less programming-oriented) this year, probably in a "Professional" version of SoftMaker Office.

3. Yes, we do offer volume licensing with significant discounts. The pricing is negotiated on an individiual basis. Please contact me at sales (at) softmaker.de to discuss this.

Will this be available for Windows CE / PocketPC as well?

Yes for Pocket PCs, but not so quickly. We first need to get the desktop versions running stably and smoothly.

Looking forward to a database. Will it have relational capabilities and a strong report writer?
