Hi, there.
I've found this option at the user manual about the convertion of a text into a table but it's not correct.
It says:
"The previous section described how to convert a table into paragraphs of text. The reverse is also possible as
you can convert text in tabular form into a table by choosing the command Insert | Table | Convert text to
table.
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Select the paragraphs of text that you want to convert into a table.
2. Choose the ribbon command Insert | Table | Convert text to table.
3. First, select the Separator that will be used to separate the entries in the text (see below).
4. Then specify the number of rows and columns that the table should have. (TextMaker automatically
suggests appropriate values by default.)
5. Confirm with OK."
But there ain't no "Insert/Table/Convert text to Table" as described at the manula.
When I click the Insert command I see:
Date
Field
Calculus
Simbol
Indicator
...
But there's no Table option.
Is it not available at the Free Office version?
Best regards
Roberto
PS: When I created my account I can't find the correct Time Zone SET.
I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, so I'm on GMT -3 - Brasília's time zone!
There's only São Paulo and it's not correct!
Sao Paulo is not the capitol from my country!
We have 4 time zone sets, but none is Sao Paulo.

Re: Converting text into table
The user manual is based on the ribbon interface. You are obviously using classic menus. There the command is to be found at Table > Convert text to table...

Re: Converting text into table
Jossi,
thanks for your reply but this option does not exist at the Table menu nor at the ribbon command Insert | Table, here on my
FreeOffice TextMaker 2024 (rev F1216.0706) 32bit
I just realized it's 32bit.
Is there a 64bit version that I can change it to?
Thanks
Re: Converting text into table
You are right. This function is only available in the commercial version of TextMaker, not in FreeOffice.
