Hyperlinks don't work

I have a book manuscript that uses hyperlinks to each chapter head in the table of contents, preparatory to converting the manuscript to an e-book. The manuscript was created in Microsoft Word 2019, and the hyperlinks work in Word. When I open the file in TextMaker 2024, the links don't work. They work if I open the file in LibreOffice Writer.

Is it a known problem that hyperlinks created in Word don't work in TextMaker?
