Libre Office Presentations

Post by edgarkls »

I just realised that Softmaker Office Presentations cannot open or edit Libreoffice Impress files, which makes the software pretty useless to me. Can support for Libreoffice Impress file be expected in the near future?

Hello,

I have the same problem, all LibreOffice formats are a must, they are open anyway, specifically on Linux.

I agree. The OpenDocument standard is much more cleaner than MS.
However I think we are a minority. In the past few years I have found plenty of issues with TM's odt support. This issues are now fixed, but makes me believe that if the format was actually popular between SM users, this issues would have been solved long time ago. I wouldn't have been the only one finding issues with styles and comments in documents.
