Making tax digital Vat return

Hi, I have been trying to submit a VAT return using Anna free software. Anna supplies a xls template to download.
I can download and open it with planmaker however when I try to submit the file it gets rejected as the incorrect format.
If I open the file via excel and the save it the file is accepted!
I cannot see any difference in the content only the file size?

Thanks for your post but as you are unable to find any difference in both the files only the third party who is rejecting it can tell the reason of rejection.

As far as I know, the tax return has to be sent directly to the tax office. It should contain information about the applicant, the manufacturer, and the object of the declaration.
