I want page numbering in x of y format

I can explain how to do it with the classic menu. The ribbon menu is probably similar.

Assume you want it in a footer, so the first step is to insert a footer. From the menu:

> Insert
> Footer

You are now in the footer area. To insert page numbers:

> Type "Page" and a space
> Insert > Field > Page Number
> Type a space, then "of," then another space
> Insert > Field > Page Count

Done
