Password protection broken on update ? - (Solved)

July 15th update: password protected file no longer prompts for password on opening.
New blank workbook is opened instead.
Worked fine before update. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks for reporting this problem. I am unable to reproduce this problem, so please share the associated file of TextMaker 2021 in which you are getting this problem so that we can do further investigation for resolution.

Also, share your sminfo file, which you can generate by clicking on '?' > About > Write system information.

Update: Prior to posting, I had verified the workbook by opening on desktop (Linux/Windows) with no issues.
I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it on my tablet with no change to strange password behaviour.

What I failed to do was clear the existing cache and data via Settings -> Apps -> Office: PlanMaker->Storage.

Doing so has restored the app to working as expected.
I have marked the original post as solved.
