document not being saved correctly

I currently have a document (.tmdx) open on the laptop I'm using now with freeoffice textmaker which has 195 pages. When I save it and reopen it it has 196 pages.

I am using text boxes extensively throughout the document, and they get moved around (repositioned and sometimes resized) after I save the doc. So the one I currently have open with 195 pages, I've saved as a PDF (remains 195 pages as a pdf), to show how I want it looking, but the saved document when I reopen it has 196 pages..

However, if I save as .tmd (not .tmdx) , then the formatting of the pages appears to remain the same.. with 195 pages..

I'd be happy to send the PDF along with the .tmd and .tmdx files to be scrutinised..

Thanks Sven.. have sent the file as a .tmd .. if you resave as .tmdx, the format gets changed..
