I didn't see in the product page under this specifically so, does Thunderbird directly import all my email, contacts, etc. from eM Client that used to come with SoftMaker?
I am a few releases out of date and want to upgrade but I don't, well can't have my emails getting screwed up.
Thanks!

Re: Will thunderbird import from eM Client
About 3-4 years ago, we had an import filter for eM Client Databases but we stopped developing it, since Thunderbird changed their APIs, and we expected that all interested users had already migrated.
You need an import only if your e-mail uses POP3. If you use IMAP to access your e-mails, you don't need the filter, you just create a new account in Thunderbird, and it synchronizes itself with the server, where your messages are stored.
