Service packs files leftover?

Post by Paultx »

The folder C:\Program Files\SoftMaker Office 2018 contains two service pack executable files:

servicepack1864_942
servicepack1864_944

Are they leftovers I can delete or I must keep them?

I ask you that because some applications normally download service packs, install them and delete them automatically after the installation. This happens mostly with installations made directly from the Web, when the files are stored in some temp location.

When I have to download such a file to my PC, I can delete it after the installation, once the service pack update is applied.

Thanks in advance.
