This is a file my son is having to edit, sent to him from his university. The file opens perfectly when not edited, but after editing this is the result:
He is using revision 933.0620 on Windows 10 (not updated)
When I opened the same file in Textmaker on Debian Linux (Nightly build rev 950.0731, everything was fine except for one text box being misplaced:
On correcting the issue, saving, and re-opening, the same misplacement occurred.
I have tried to work out the problem, as it seems to have something to do with anchoring, but every time the file is correct and saved, the same issues occur when re-opened.
The edited file opens normally, everything in place, on LibreOffice 6.0.5.2
I have attached the partially edited file.

Re: docx file created in MS Word (?) loads tables incorretly
The original file (from your second post) contain 8 pages. After saving and re-opening in rev.950 (Nightly) the file suddenly contains 11 pages. There is something wrong here. I will report this to the developers.

Thanks Sven, it has been confusing me somewhat.
Re: docx file created in MS Word (?) loads tables incorretly
The document uses table frames, i.e. freely moveable tables. This Word feature is very hard for us to handle.
To make the document editable do the following steps in TextMaker:
#1: On page 6 select the table "TEMPLATE: Assignment 2 – Planning. Task 2- Week 5 schedule" and set the wrap mode in the table properties/Layout to 'None'
#2: On Page 3 set the caret into the last line (the blue one) and insert an additional line
#3: ON page 4 select the table "TEMPLATE: Assignment 2 – Planning. Task 1: Assessment Calendar" and set the wrap mode in the table properties/Layout to 'None'
However, the bug has been solved and should not occur anymore with the next service pack.
