General Appeal on Distance Letters

I want to make a general appeal, in the hope that this will go around everywhere and not just in SoftMaker. Lately I see that the distances between the letters leaves much to be desired, this applies to almost all the fonts I try, including those of softmaker ... An appeal to be run even in the areas of open source software that give the possibility to write texts ... Take better care of the distance between the individual letters. Thank you.

When kerning is used (in TextMaker: check "Use kerning" in Format > Character, tab "Spacing"), I see no issues in letter spacing. This option makes a lot of a difference.
