OK. So purchasers from "a couple of weeks ago" receive a free upgrade. Is there an official cut-off date? I might not have purchased 2016 when I did had I know 2018 was arriving so quickly.

I purchased the 2016 version on September 21, 2017, but was said not to fulfil the criteria for the free upgrade.

The criterion was that you needed to have purchased SoftMaker Office 2016 at full price. I checked the database, and you participated in a promotion in which paid around half of that.

The best we can do is credit the purchase price of 2016 towards the 2018 purchase. You should contact us at sales (at) softmaker.com
