We have to complete the Windows version first, then fix Linux-specific issues. It will still take a bit of time.

Is there an estimated timeframe for this?

Some time in 2005. Sorry, at this point in time I cannot say this more exactly.

It will be wise if you release it before OpenOffice 2.0 goes into the market. OOO 2.0 will have strong database management software. Also OOO 2.0 will improve the presentation software drastically.

I have tested the OOo 2.0 Beta database client. They use Java based HSQLDB as the database.

Is there a release date for your Linux version?

We have to finish all TextMaker 2005 verions first (all platforms). Then we decide what product to release next.

This year we will release TextMaker 2006 for all platforms and PlanMaker 2006 for all platforms. Then we will take a look at DataMaker for Windows first, and then start porting to the other platforms.
