"let" function or equivalent? variable in formula

"let" function or equivalent? variable in formula

It does not have "Let" function;
is there another equivalent way to define local variables inside formulas? Besides using a pre-defined name for a range of cells.

Currently, this function is not available, but I have forwarded this as an improvement suggestion.
