This probably is not specific to the Linux edition, but in Google or Zoho Sheets there is a super intuitive way of manually re-ordering rows (and columns). I've attached a screen capture to show what I mean, but basically you select one or more rows (or columns), then can drag and drop them. My question: is there an equivalent in PlanMaker ... or, if not, could this be considered for a future version?
(Apologies if this has already been covered. I did search for and found some related topics, like this one, but I felt this was a little different.)
Moving rows
Re: Moving rows
Yes, you can use the same method:
- Select your desired range
- Press and hold the left mouse button
- Drag to the target location

Re: Moving rows
Thank you ... I hadn't realized that.
It's not quite the same, though, precisely because, as you say, it overwrites any existing data that is there.
If it adds some context, one of the things I do with a spreadsheet is use it as a grid to layout information (vs performing calculations). Think of a to do list, for example. I might want to re-order my to do items, based on my current priorities. Dragging rows (or columns) to re-order them is therefore easiest *without* overwriting ... otherwise I need to do extra work to insert new rows, etc.
Does that make sense ... and is what I described possible?

Re: Moving rows
You can cut the row/column and then use the “Insert copied cell”, you can find it in ribbon command Home | Cells group| Insert dropdown | Insert copied cells.
