Top align not available

Post by mistrowl »

I'm trying to find a way to top-align text in a cell, but I have no vertical alignment options.

I have left, right, center, and justify, but no top, middle, bottom alignment buttons.

Where can they be found?

Thanks!

Right click the selected cell or cells. From the pop-up menu choose "Cells" Then choose the "Alignment" tab, and you can set both vertical and horizontal alignment.

Yeaaaahhh I'm aware that's an option, but it's horribly inefficient. I've seen screenshots from SoftMaker's own documentation:

That says there should be a button. Is their documentation incorrect?

The documentation describes the ribbon user interface, but you use menus and toolbars.

You can customize the toolbars to add vertical alignment, or you can switch over to the ribbon UI.

Ah ha! Yes! Switching to Ribbon worked.

Thank you!

Thank you for this. I still use "classic" menus, and I had not realized that I can customize them. This is much appreciated.
