Best I can tell, the "Paragraph" tool in Textwriter does not include a path for selecting an unformatted numerical text sequence and then converting it into dollars, i.e. with a leading dollar sign and also a decimal point two places from the right of the number chain.
MSFT Word rather illogically includes number and date formatting under Paragraph, but Textwriter must have this function at some other location that I cannot find, unless it is withheld on the free version, which I would doubt.
When I search "Textwriter number format" on the internet or in the Softmaker manual for textwriter, I come up with a flurry of irrelevant returns such as numbered lists or Planmaker.
Textwriter process for converting selected numbers to dollars
Re: Textwriter process for converting selected numbers to dollars
Please provide complete details of your suggestion, and which text writer software includes it with which feature name?

"Textwriter" seems to be "TextMaker"?
As far as I know, there is not such a function in TextMaker.
You can only use calculations via the fields functions, but that will not convert numerical text into Dollars.
