Using CardDAV contacts or syncing addressbook with WebDAV contacts

I started for myself the project switching from MS Office to Softmaker Office. Adopting the templates from MS Word to Textmaker was quite easily.

Now I'm searching for a comfortable solution using Outlook concacts within Textmaker.

I use Outlook as "primary database" for storing all necessary private and business contacts and sync them via WebDAV on a WebDAV/CardDAV server. When using in MS Office a serial letter, I choose Outlook as source for the contact & address infomation.


I saw in the file explorer, that Softmaker Office uses the local stored file "addressbook.sqlite" for storing contact information.

Has Softmaker Office a comfortable solution to sync the content of this file with a WebDAV (CardDAV) server (e.g. automatically in intervals)?

Or has Softmaker Office already implemented a function to access contacts on a CardDAV server?

A syncing option would be good, to have access to the contacts in "offline" mode (meaning storing locally on a system).

Currently, you can access, edit and update the database, but sync is not possible. I have forwarded this improvement suggestion…
