Long keypress for accented characters

I know that this issue has been brought up before, but the last mention I see of it is three years ago.

On many programs, doing a long keypress on certain characters brings up a set of accented character options.

Has this ever been implemented on TextMaker for the Mac?

Please click on the File tab in the ribbon, then go to Options. Under the General tab, check the option “Enable dictation support” and click OK.

After that, you will be able to use accented characters by pressing and holding the keys.

Nifty. You should add this to the „Tips and tricks“ section of your Website.

I think not on the website but in user manual. I have forwarded this improvement suggestion.
