Textmaker & Thunderbird images/text copy and paste

Today I noticed that I could copy and paste text and images simultaneously between Textmaker and Thunderbird.

However, the images paste with text does not work between MS Word or Open Office to thunderbird. Whay is this?

Wrong place to ask when SoftMaker Office does it right and Word/OpenOffice fail.
