I see FlexiPDF 2022 has been updated to version 311, which does away with the unwanted installation of hundreds of Noto fonts on the user's computer.

Does FreePDF 2022 also install all those Noto fonts? If so, is there an update to FreePDF 2022 to stop that obnoxious behavior?

Yes, it does. We just released a service pack for FlexiPDF. Please wait for the FreePDF update.
