Lapse... Losing cursor position

I've got a lengthy document, and when I leave it for a bit and come back, it puts me at the top of the document, and lose my zoom setting. Have you seen this? I've got a Galaxy A9 tablet. Cheers.

Thank you for posting your problem. Is that happening with this document only, or with other short/long documents also?

How many other apps are running on your device at the same time?

If I had to guess, it's related to what goes out in virtual memory.
For example, when I go back to my gmail tab, in Chrome, it sometimes acts as thogh it has to reload itself.
So it is like one of those occasions on Android. When in textMaker, perhaps due to other apps using memory,
like when it puts textMaker to sleep or something. After that, select it, and it opens at the top of the document,
like textMaker was just opened for the first time.

Yes, it's because of operating system memory handling process. It stops background apps like TextMaker when you are switching to other apps and then when you switch back to TextMaker, it loses cursor position.
