Presentations NX

Post by moyskley »

Hi,

I've been encountering an issue in which Presentations NX is making unreadable PPTX/PPT files. While those files are readable by Presentations NX, they are not by any other Office environment including Microsoft Office. I've tested every format of export, and PPSX seems openable but not editable. Anything else just fails to load in anything but Presentations NX, making me unable to share the presentations with people who do not own Presentations NX. Is it a known bug and is it fixable?

I added the document as an attachment so you could see what went wrong.

This is not a PPTX file, but a PRDX file renamed to PPTX. If you load this file in Presentations and choose File > Save As, you will see that the file type is "Presentations".

You really need to save as a PowerPoint PPTX, and then PowerPoint can open the file.
