Adding Numbering to the Headings

Hi

I tried to add numbering to the headings, so that it will show the first heading with 1. the second heading with 2. and I will also like that it indent based on header 2 and header 3.

I did not find a way to do it, can you please indicate? If I add numbering to the format, it just adds a 1 in front of every line.
