F5 and shift-F5 not working

When starting a slide show, F5 and shift-F5 does not do anything. Slide show can only be started through the menu of presentations. See no option in settings to activate of set another key to start the slide show.

Most likely, you have a keyboard where the function keys have a double functional assignment. You will need to press some "Fn" key to actually send a function key code and not the other feature your computer manufacturer assigned to it.
