Find/Replace can't find apostrophes

Hi it seems like it's not possible to find extended characters like “” and ‘’. I need to replace these in a file so that the code samples work, but it always finds 0 hits.
Interestingly if I search for ' it will find ',‘, and ’ so this does what I need.

Thanks for your post, but I am unable to reproduce this problem as shown in the below screen recording. Please make sure you type "" or '' in the search string using your keyboard instead of copy/paste.
