Cannot cross reference a custom heading

The title is self explanatory.
When the Heading is selected in the Cross Refrence DIalog Box, the list does not contain the titles with custom headings

Thanks for your post. Yes, we have checked this issue and found that this behaves is by design like in other word processors, Word and LibreOffice etc.

If you want to add cross-references of custom headings, please check the below solution:

1. Select the destination custom heading.
2. Insert a bookmark there.
3. At the calling position, insert a cross-reference to the bookmark.

My concern is not to know how the competitor products behave but what are my need as user instead.
The goal of competition is include added value in your product. If not, what is the point to pay for it?
