"Disk full or inaccessible" error message

I'm trying out TextMaker, comparing it with other Android word processors.
I'm using it to make changes to .DOC files, and then save them as .DOCX.
So far, it excellent...
... until I try to save my changes. I get this error message:

Error saving file
Disk full or inaccessible
================
A file has been saved with the filename I gave; but it's a zero byte file.
I try saving it as an .ODT file, with same result: a zero byte file. But this time, no error message.

The same procedure in Google Docs works flawlessly, so it can't be lack of storage space. I checked, and there's >10 GB space left.
I gave TextMaker permission for storage; otherwise it wouldn't be able to even open the file.

Thank you for reporting this problem. Please let us know few details for better understanding of the problem:
1. What's the make and model of your device?
2. On which location you are trying to store your file? Is it SD card or internal storage?
3. Please share sminfo.txt file which you can generate by clicking on '?' > About > Write system information.

I have an exactly same issue.

1. My device is Huawei Mate 20 running EMUI10/Android 10.

2. I have no SD card so was trying to save it at internal storage. All required permissions is granted.

3. My sminfo attached.

Hope you can help me, I really enjoy Textmaker.

Does the problem also happen saving tmdx files? Have you tried saving to the Downloads folder (no subfolders)?
Does it also happen with PlanMaker?

1. Yes, saving tmdx files has the same problem.
2. Yes, tried to save to Downloads, problem is not happening that way
3. Yes, it happens with Planmaker too, but saving to Downloads solves this.

I suppose, something is wrong with Huawei method of giving permissions to access the filesystem.

Yes, probably.

Also, does the error message show a path? Is the path the same or is it missing a subfolder?
Example:
The correct path is /Downloads/Subfolder/File1.tmdx
The error message shows a path of /Downloads/File.tmdx (Subfolder missing).

No, error does not give any specific paths, just disk full or inaccessible.
