How to open files in separate windows?

Post by 2249 »

Hello.
How to open multiple files in separate windows? Can i do it? If yes - how? Currently, individual files open as separate tabs.

You can do this by enabling the option New program window. Once enabled, a file is always opened in a new program window, until you disable this option (even if you close and reopen PlanMaker).

Where do you find this option?
a. Choose the command File | New, a menu opens, select "More" here.
In the following dialog box, you will find this option New program window on the right side.
Select a template and click on Ok.

b. Choose the command File | Open, a dialog box opens to browse your files.
You will find this option New program window below the window that displays the files.
Select a file and click on Open.

It doesn't matter if you enable this option for File | New or File | Open, this option is synchronized for both.

Another method, if you don't want to be fixed with the option "New program window" enabled/disabled:
Drag the tabs to have it more quickly (click to see the screen capture).
