Ligatures?

I have just discovered that Word since 2007 or 2010 (Windows version) supports ligatures in typography -- but it isn't the default, so it has to be turned on. I found several articles that explain how to do this.

I can't find a comparable setting in TextMaker 2021. Does TextMaker support ligatures? If not, is it too late to ask for this to be included in TextMaker 2023?
