Problems running 2024 beta (NX) alongside 2021

I installed 2024 beta under Zorin (Ubuntu-based) Linux using gdebi without difficulty; it seems to have taken over as the default for .docx files, but not for .xslx files, and I can still run the 2021 versions as well as the 2024 ones. I can create new files in TM 2024 and PM 2024, and open and edit existing files, and save these. However when using "save as" and trying to move to a new directory the system sometimes freezes up completely.
I assume this may be an issue caused by having both 2021 and 2024 versions installed - I don't want to remove 2021 as I will need to revert to using that.

Could you please describe step-by-step what exactly you do? What folder do you use to save a new file? What exactly is the fault message shown? We have to reproduce the problem to continue with a solution of the problem.

Since re-booting the computer this problem has not recurred.
