Why is admin privilege required?

Why do Planmaker / Textmaker require admin privilege to be run? Those are the two programs I've tried, and -without providing any error- they don't start without being elevated. That's on Windows 10 x64.

Thanks for your post. There is no requirement of admin privilege to run the program. It seems some operating system level glitch.

Please reinstall entire program, rename Documents/SoftMaker folder and then check.

Are you using SoftMaker Office 2021 or FreeOffice 2021?

Please rename Documents/SoftMaker folder after uninstallation of SoftMaker Office.

After uninstallation you can try to remove folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SoftMaker FreeOffice 2021\ and rename folder ..Documents\SoftMaker

After that reinstall FreeOffice 2021.
