Can FreeOffice access remote files, e.g. a local network server or cloud account? I am not able to figure out how to set up a quick path to make this work.
Thank you,
Mike
Remote Access of files
Re: Remote Access of files
Thanks for your post. Please configure your local network storage/cloud storage on operating system level. When you will be able to browse these paths in your file manager, FreeOffice will also able to handle them through it.
Re: Remote Access of files
Was able to link my cloud accounts, but I am not able to link my local network. My file manager recognizes the remote system, so I am not sure why FreeOffice doesn't see the directory structure.

Anyone?

Please share screenshots of the problem with complete details.
Re: Remote Access of files
I have tried to use "quick path" to map to my network drive. I have used both paths in the form of smb://{server name}/USER to ftp://{IP ADDRESS}/USER. Neither works. As I mentioned previously, I already have mapped my drives through Dolphin (my file manager) and can access the network with no issues.
Re: Remote Access of files
Please install gvfs and then mount your network drives using it.
