Default margin view

I am trying to get TextMaker2021 to open and have margin width as the default view but I can't seem to find the setting that locks it in as default. Is this possible or must I set it manually every time I open TextMaker2021? Thanks all.

I believe each document saves the zoom level when it is saved. There doesn't appear to be an option to set a default zoom globally.

If you don’t open an existing document but simply start TextMaker, it opens with a new document "Untitled 1" which is based on the document template Normal.tmvx. So, just open Normal.tmvx (choose "Templates" as "File type" in the "Open" dialog), adjust the zoom level to your wishes and save the template again. From now on, all new documents should have the desired zoom level.
