I am trying to type in Bangla text using unicode fonts (in a phonetic keyboard program, iBus Avro). Even though the letters are showing fine the expected sequence of the diacritics is getting altered. For example, when I type "Letter + Diacritic", the sequence should be shown as the "Diacritic + Letter" (flipped) in the word processor; but, TextMaker is not showing me the right sequence. This, however, works fine in other programs on my system, including LibreOffice, WPS Office programs, MS Word, etc.
Any help appreciated!

Re: Unicode character sequence misbehaving
SoftMaker Office does not support Indic scripts yet. This is on the wishlist for the future.

Re: Unicode character sequence misbehaving
Four years later in 2023, I'm still facing the same issue with typing Bangla text using Unicode fonts. Despite my efforts, the problem persists. Just to recap, I'm using a phonetic keyboard program called iBus Avro to input the text. While the letters themselves appear correctly, the order of diacritics is not being displayed as expected. To explain further, when I type a "Letter + Diacritic" combination, it should be shown as "Diacritic + Letter" (flipped) in the word processor. This functionality works well in other software like LibreOffice, WPS Office programs, and MS Word, but TextMaker still doesn't get it right.
If anyone has insights or solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help!
