Additional PDF~ file saved to folders

Hi everyone,

I apologize if this thread is already answered somewhere.

These days Textmaker has been saving an additional PDF~ file, except, it doesn't look like a PDF and it has a ( ~ ) sign after its name.

I couldn't find any mention to a PDF~ anywhere on Google or elsewhere. I'm aware that I can deactivate back up for Textmaker and I did,
but would anyone know how I could deactivate this weird PDF~ ?

For the record: I use Adobe Reader for visualizing PDF.

TextMaker never creates files with a tilde (~) silently attached. You need to check if some other software interferes.
