Hello,
Is a French grammar corrector planned in a future version of SoftMaker and FreeOffice?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
French grammar corrector
Re: French grammar corrector
Grammar corrector is a commercial version feature, so it will be not available for FreeOffice, but I have forwarded this feature request of French grammar corrector for SoftMaker Office 2021.
Re: French grammar corrector
But, there is an open source and free grammar checker for the French language: https://grammalecte.net
Re: French grammar corrector
grammarchecker.net is one of best option to check french grammar checker. There are many grammar rules in French now, but there are many more that could be added. Checking https://grammarchecker.net/spell-check/ has now having the most xml rules.thus there isn't much going on in the French version these days.
It also detects spelling errors and offers suggestions, as Hunspell's suggestions would be too slow to utilise when checking big amounts of text. We could use an FSA dictionary to speed up spelling suggestions, however FSA dictionaries lack capabilities that would weaken the detection of spelling problems. So far, I've favoured Hunspell because identifying spelling issues is more essential to me.

This link takes me to an English spelling and grammar checker, and I don't see any option to change to French.Manizhe wrote: ↑Tue Jun 14, 2022 11:27 am grammarchecker.net is one of best option to check french grammar checker.
