voice to text dictation

Hello. I am new to Softmaker Office so there is a good chance I am missing something basic. Anyway, I want to use voice dictation for content in TextMaker. I have dictation working on my Mac for other applications but can not get text into a TextMaker page. I can add text from the keyboard, so the software works. I guess I don't understand why characters sent from the keyboard would be treated differently from characters generated by Apple's voice dictation program. Anyone else using voice to text into TextMaker?

Hello,

I am new to SoftMaker 2021 and I have to reporte the same issue:
- dictation works great on Mac OSX hitting the configured key combination
- in Textmaker, the dictation icon does not even pop up when hitting the keys

I hope this issue can be resolved

Dictation does not work with Textmaker, but it works with all other applications on my Mac. Am I missing something or is there an issue with Textmaker? I saw this has been reported several times, but there is not a solution posted anywhere. Does anybody have a solution?

It should work now. Please update your SoftMaker Office to the latest revision and then check.

Also, please click on ribbon command File | Options | General tab and enable Dictation Support if it's disabled.
