I experienced the same issue with PlanMaker 2021 (rev F1042.1212) 64bit, running upon Mac OS - Montery 12.3.1
No keyboard input would be accepted into any Sheet. I could however color the sheets using the various ribbon buttons.
I have a Japanese Keyboard, but use a US English system input by default.
After going to the Tools -> Options menu option (top of screen menu)
I selected the General Tab, and checked the "Extended support for Asian fonts"
Now everything works - I can input data into cells.

In my case, I fixed a very similar issue being reinstating support for Asian fonts via the Tools-Options menu's General tab.
I think that this may happen after an MacOS Update.
