Windows file search tool doesn't find Textmaker documents!

Hi All - New to this forum. I just installed the Softmaker suite and have been saving new and changes to old text documents in the .docx format with Softmaker. Previous I was using Word 2016 and documents were saved in the Microsoft 2007-2016 .docx format. Unfortunately this 2007-2016 version of .docx is not available in the Softmaker drop-down menu. My problem is that now when I use the Windows file search tool to search for a text string in my "Documents" folder, or any subfolder, Desktop, etc, it finds all the OLD unmodified documents from Word 2016, but does NOT find any of the new Textmaker documents, even though I am 100% positive that they are there. So something is not right. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks for posting your problem. Please try to search with *.tmdx or *.doc, as you might have saved your new documents with TextMaker's TMDX file format.
