Zotero - all buttons greyed out

Hi, I upgraded to Pro just to have Zotero working. Wondering why the buttons are all greyed out? I have rebooted etc. Does it depend on the Zotero version I have installed? I just installed Zotero beta as I am switching from Mendeley so, I need the beta to import it from Mendeley online... Yes, I am switching to Zotero also so that I can use Softmaker Office as my only Office suite on my main carry around laptop.

P.S. I also upgraded from Standard by using the Professional registration code. Is this the problem?

1. Install the latest version (5.0.96.3 at this date) of Zotero for windows from here:
https://www.zotero.org/download/
2. Open Zotero, then go to "Tools > Add ons" and make sure that "Zotero LibreOffice integration" is enabled
3. Don't close Zotero and then start TextMaker
4. Go to References > Zotero > Insert Citation. It should work now.

I have a similar problem, but the suggested solution has not worked. I am using Softmaker Office 2021 build 1038 (x64) in Xubuntu.

Please let us know which Zotero version you are using, and did you start Zotero before opening TextMaker?

I am using Zotero 5.0.96.3. I am able to use Zotero in LibreOffice. I was also able to use Zotero in Softmaker when I was running the Universal version up to November 11. Zotero has not been working in Textmaker since I switched to the Home version.

Zotero support is only included in the Professional and NX Universal versions.
