Planmaker hangs for several seconds, sometimes on opening, sometimes on exit, sometimes on entering and saving data. The delay is sufficient to produce the Windows warning that the programme is not responding. This is not related to file size and is not a function of recalculating values. It is also not consistent - it does not happen all the time.
I have tried repairing Planmaker, and this seems to cure the issue temporarily but it quickly reasserts itself.
Any suggestions?
Running Softmaker Office 21 on laptop with Core i7 processor and 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 Home.

There can be several causes of your problem and to find out the exact cause please try these steps:
1. When PlanMaker not responding, please check your task manager to see if any other process is consuming your computer's resources.
2. Please check if you are getting this problem in other applications also.
3. Please run scan with your antivirus program to check if there is any infection in your computer which is causing this problem.
4. Please update your Windows and restart post restart.
5. You can also rename your Documents/SoftMaker folder and then check PlanMaker to check if there is anything wrong in the PlanMaker settings. Please also make sure that your SoftMaker Office is of the latest revision.

Tried nearly everything without success, but no 5 (renaming the Documents file) seems to have worked. Thanks!
