Document comparison

Seems like the document comparison feature has been requested for quite some time, and it has been stuck ever since?

Just an idea how (simplistic) document comparison can be implemented.

1. Extract the body text from 2 (or more) open documents' Document Object Model (DOM) in-memory structure into 2 strings
2. Strip out formatting markups and unnecessary whitespaces from the strings
3. Apply a text diff library (from some open source projects?) to compare the 2 strings
4. Loop through the list of differences (perhaps an enumeration or list) to add some comments at the side

Yes, this is still in our goal list, but our task list is very long. I will let you know whenever we will get any update regarding this. I have forwarded the request again to our developer team.

Could you add my request as well please for document comparison?

Could you tell the devs that WPS Office does it, so does Onlyoffice, so does LibreOffice - so it is getting a bit lonely for TextMaker now.
