how to disable Document Tabs

Is there a way to disable Document Tabs in Textmaker 2021? Document Tabs to me are not necessary, and they use up a valuable strip of space in the Toolbar area. Thanks

You can't disable document tabs.

At least with ribbons, disabling them would not save space, since the tabs share their space with the Quick access toolbar.

Thanks for the reply! I don't use ribbons in any program. Never liked them. I'm thinking there may be some way in TextMaker coding to disable Document Tabs as they do not show in the 2018 Free version. Tabs are superfluous, and the strip of space they take up across the top of the screen is significant.

Many thanks for checking into feasibility for this. I actually use TextMaker mostly on a Mac (I purchased the 2021 license for this), so if this can be considered for the Mac platform as well, it would be much appreciated.
