Academic version of TM 2006

Post by Mark Davies »

I purchased the academic version in SM Office 2004 and I'm now intending to purchase an upgrade to TM 2006, but currently there is no advertised academic price for this upgrade. Will there be any academic price for TM 2006?

As soon as PlanMaker 2006 is done, there will be SoftMaker Office 2006, and this will be available at academic pricing as well.

In the meantime, however, I'll need to buy a copy of TM 2006. I assume it would be at the upgrade price. Would I get a refund on this if I then upgraded to SM Office 2006 at the academic price? :) After all, the price of the upgrade to SM Office 2006 Academic would, I assume, be less than the price of a normal upgrade to TM 2006.

I have the same question. I just recently purchased and wanted to upgrade to TM 2006.

Please wait for Office 2006. If you really cannot wait for Office 2006 and need to purchase TextMaker 2006 you have to pay the normal upgrade pricing, as there is no academic pricing for it.
