Hi SoftMakers,
If you open TextMaker in classic menus and toolbars and want to edit a line anywhere in that line of text, the cursor/your writing writes over the previous text instead of pushing it forward which would be the normal way. But if you switch the user interface to Ribbon, then editing a line of text pushes the entire line (from where your cursor is) and doesn't write over your previous text, which is normal. Is there a bug with changing to Classic menus and toolbars?
Thanks,
Kourosh

Re: Editing a line writes over the text instead of pushing it in classic menus
Hi again,
For some weird reason, I changed both PlanMaker and TextMaker to Classic Menus and none of them do the overwriting of the text anymore. I can not reproduce the error anymore. I tried to to have both TextMaker and PlanMaker open and only change one of them to Ribbon or Classic Menus and it did not happen again. Very weird.

It seems that you pressed Insert key by mistake previously that's why you noticed that behavior otherwise there is no difference in ribbon and classic menu in typing text.
